Partner Emeritus

L. Martin Miller, CPA, was a Partner of Morison Cogen from 1964 until his retirement in 2005. He still actively consults with individuals and businesses on matters involving tax planning, with special emphasis on estate planning, strategic financial planning, and tax advantaged investing. Mr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs, and has served on the AICPA’s Specialization Accreditation Board. He also served as chairman of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy, and has been an adjunct professor of accounting at The Wharton School. Mr. Miller has written articles on tax issues for Practical Tax Strategies, The Journal of Accountancy, and The Pennsylvania CPA Spokesman. Additionally, he has made presentations to many professional and business organizations on tax, financial, and business management topics.
